One of the many Agave. This native of Mexico is classed as a perennial succulent. It has long narrow dark green leaves that produce white filaments as each leaf matures. It will form a neat mound shaped plant and can reach up to 75cm when mature. Best grown in a sunny position and in a very well drained soil. As it doesn't like to be too wet during the winter it is best grown in a pot so it can be moved to a sheltered position for the winter months. Hardy to minus 6c if kept dry.
