Agave gentryi

This Agave comes from Noth east Mexico growing up to 3300 metres above sea level. The young leaves are blue-green but mature to green in time. The solitary symmetrical rosette is open with broad leaves. Growing in similar habitats to Agave montana it is subject to a cold and wet environment. A quick growing Agave which is ideal for the UK climate so long as it has good drainage it is said to tolerate temps down to minus 10c or lower.
