Cepholophyllum alstonii

A creeping perennial succulent. The spectacular bright red flowers attract insects too. The leaves are up to 120mm long, triangular and erect. Growing in the Ceres Karoo area of South Africa and will tolerate desert conditions and is best grown in free draining compost or soil. It will make a great pot plant along with a selection of other succulents. Protect from hard frosts.
