Pelargonium betulinum

This is a specie Pelargonium with an upright habit. It has grey green leaves which are tooth edged and shaped like birch leaves. The leaves can be used for coughs as they contain essential oils. So by placing in a bowl of boiling water, the patient can inhale the vapour to relieve the symptoms. When crushed the leaves give off a camphor like scent. Height 50cm and spread 30cm
