Agave potatorum

A beautiful Agave that will not get too big. This smaller growing variety will have a height and spread of 30cm. Forming a neat rosette with blue grey fleshy leaves with dark brown spines which you must be cautious of. This compact grower makes an ideal pot grown specimen in a drought resistant display. Best grown in a free draining compost or soil and can be grown in the ground in some areas of the UK as it is hardy to minus 10c but beware of the winter wet as it will need to be sheltered from the worst of the winter elements.
