Helianthemum 'Ben Ledi'
One of the rock roses with bright red flowers with yellow eyes which contrast lovely with the glossy green foliage. Masses of flowers start in May and continue into July and if pruned after flowering a second flush will be produced later in the year. This is a tough and hardy shrub making it a great coastal plant for harsh situations, drought conditions and poor soils. The Helianthemum family are a great colourful addition to rockeries, gravel garden and borders. They will also attract pollinating insects into your garden. Height 20cm and spread 25cm Why not mix with other varieties to get a contrast as well as them complimenting each other.
