Restio festuciformis

This is a South African evergreen perennial belonging to the restio family. It is one of the smaller varieties only growing to 40 - 50cm tall and with a spread of 60cm. It is best planted in a sunny position in a moisture retentive soil that doesn't waterlog in the winter. Hardy -6c
