Commonly know as Golden Oats after the flowers. This is a striking ornamental grass that is evergreen and will form a spiky clump. From this clump a large number of long stems with oat like flower heads appear well above the leaves during mid summer. When mature it will put on a show of a wide fountain and the golden seed heads will dry out naturally on the plant and persist well into winter. Producing a great architectural feature for any garden even when frosted they look great. Overall the flower spikes can reach well over 2m height and spread.
