Zingiber mioga 'White Feather'
A delicate looking member of the ginger family. It is robust and hardy with a herbaceous deciduous habit. So it dies back in the winter to return in the spring with young fresh shoots when the ground warms up. The stems will reach approx. 1m tall and will spread to form a neat clump up to 1.5m wide if left for several years. The 30cm long leaves are variegated with the margins of the leaves a creamy white.
