Aeonium arboreum atropurpureum
This is an attractive, branching Aeonium that is often mixed up with Aeonium swartzkopf.
This variety never gets as dark as swartzkopf and can add a great contrast when grown together. During the winter and into spring the leaves are quite green but once the weather warms up and light levels intensify the leave start to change to a deep red/maroon colour for the summer. Protect from frost.
