Echium webbii

A lovely compact branching evergreen shrub which is endemic to La Palma, Canary islands.  Ideally grow in a well drained soil or can be grown in a large pot or container. Reaching 1.2m height and spread. The pale green narrow leaves are hairy with a distinct mid-rib. The inflorescences are blue funnel shaped and up to 25cm tall so more compact than it's cousin Echium pininana. A rarely offered specie of the Echium family who are all great magnets for bees and other pollinators in the garden.
