The Ashy-leaved Hakea is a stricking bushy shrub. Thick leathery ash coloured grey-green leaves. The very brightly coloured flowers are initially yellow/green and mature to orange. A slower growing shrub which will be prized by those with patience. A light to medium soil is prefered so long as it is free draining in full sun. Frost tolerant.
