This is a low growing succulent, that has a branching habit. Its common name is mountain rose and you can see why when you look at the photo. During hot weather the central rosette close up sometimes and look like a large flower bud. Like most of the Aeoniums they like to be grown in a free draining soil in a light and sunny position. As with a lot of succulents they do need to be kept frost free during the winter so are probably best grown in pots or containers so they can be brought in under cover for the winter.
