Agave filafera

A very striking plant which belongs to the succulent family. It forms evergreen rosettes up to 65cm in diameter with each leaf getting to 25cm long and 4cm wide with a single terminal spike. The shiny dark green leaves produce filiferous margins. Like all Agave it likes a hot, sunny position with very good drainage. They will tolerate some cold if kept dry. They don't like being cold and wet for long periods.
