Agave guadalajarana

This is a very unusual Agave with distinct shaped leaves. It has a great grey - green colouration with red/brown spines terminally as well as along the leaf margins. It will get up to 60cm tall and 90cm wide and comes from Mexico. Rare in cultivation so is rarely offered for sale in the UK. It is best grown in a free draining situation with a sunny aspect. Keep out of the winter rain and protect from the severe cold. Although it will take some cold, protect below minus 3c.
