Aloe ferox hybrid
We have a few pots of this Aloe that was seed sown that was supposed to be Aloe ferox but when they grew were definitely something different. They look similar but with less spines/toothing on the leaves.
A single stemmed succulent. The fleshy green leaves have small stines that are brown in colour. It will produce orange-red flowers as the plant matures in the summer months. It will reach a height of 2m and spread of 1m after many years. Best planted in a free draining soil in full sun. Hardy to minus 4c if kept dry.
