Leucadendron 'Inca Gold'

This is a great plant to add winter colour to a garden with it's dark red stems and Golden buttery yellow bracts which appear early in the year and are very striking. It will grow into a nice rounded shrub up to 1m tall with oblong leaves all year round. Leucadendrons generally have a greater tolerance to varying soil types than some Protea it is an ideal candidate to grow where some protea might have previously struggled or failed. It is tolerant to wind and drought once established and looks great in a rockery or Mediterranean garden. It can also be pot grown so making a great statement plant on any deck or patio. Protect from severe frost.
