Leucospermum formosum

One of many Leucospermums from South Africa and a member of the family Proteaceae. This plant is classed as an evergreen shrub that is upright in habit to a height of 2m. it have glaucous blue/green leaves that are toothed on the tips. It will have yellow pincushion type flowers during the summer. Plant in a well drained acidic soil in full sun or may be planted in a pot/container using an acidic compost. Protea compost is available form this website. Protect from severe frost and from waterlogging.
