Protea compacta

The Bot River Protea. This Protea forms erect slender bushes, they grow naturally on poor sandy soils near to coast and tolerate light frosts and salt spray as they are found less than 100m above sea level. The compacta refers to the stemless leaves growing against the stems. Grow in full sun in a free draining acidic soil/compost. Make great container plants when grown in our special Protea compost.
