Senecio repens also goes by the name Senecio serpens with a common name of Blue chalk sticks as is obvious when you see the plant. The young plants start growing quite upright but the weight of the foliage pull the stems down as they mature to form a prostrate habit and will make good ground cover in time. Maximum height is 30cm and an overall spread of 60cm. Each leaf will get up to approx. 50mm long and turned upright. It does flower with small white and creamy yellow flowers during late summer/autumn depending on the plant. Best grown in a free draining position possibly a raised bed or container grown.
